I am Pedro Lázaro Rodríguez. I have a Ph.D. in Social Sciences by the University of Granada (Spain) and my research is focused on Information and Scientific Communication. I work as an Assistant Professor of Library and Information Science at the Complutense University of Madrid.
As a researcher, I am a member of INFOBISOC, a research group on Information, Libraries and Society. As well, I collaborate with Secaba Lab (University of Granada) keeping up to date the tool Secaba-Rank that I developed and implemented during my Ph.D. You can find me on Google Scholar, Scopus, WOS, Open Science Framework, ORCID, Figshare, and on the UCM Scientific Production Portal.
Also, I am on the Fediverse: on Mastodon you can follow me at Social.PolíticaConCiencia (toots in Spanish about libraries, LIS, free-software, sporespondence, etc.), Scholar.Social (the same but in English) and Kolektiva.Social (toots about veganism); I am as well on TubEdu (Peertube, for sharing academic and education videos), PixelFed (sharing pictures), Friendica (a profile synchronize with a personal RSS feed) and on my Blog (WriteFreely), where I write about different topics such as libraries, free-software, teaching, etc.

I have co-authored some reports analyzing the quality of libraries based on LibQUAL and "ad hoc" surveys. We carried out studies for some public and university libraries such as the University of Granada (2017-2018; 2018-2019; 2019-2020), the University of Alcalá (2017 and 2019); the University of Salamanca (2017 and 2019); the public library Jovellanos in Gijón, Asturias, Spain (2017), the Federico Santa María Technical University (2017) or the Catholic University of Argentina (2018).
Please, if you want me to review a manuscript, consider that I took the pledge of "No free view? No review!", and I "will avoid serving as peer reviewer for venues that do not make publicly available the research that I review".
